• Regulatory Fees Declared Unconstitutional in Estonia

  The Estonian Constitutional Court has issued its ruling today confirming the unconstitutionality of the new EU-CEG fees applicable for cigars as of 1 January 2025 in Estonia.

• ProCigar Appoints Mr. Cascella as President for the 2026–28 Term

  The Association of Dominican Cigar Manufacturers (ProCigar) announced the election of Tabacalera Fuente as the presiding company of the organization for the 2026– 2028 term, represented by its CEO, Mr. Ciro Cascella. His appointment was formalized during the Annual General Assembly, held on April 30th, 2026.
